4 recipients of community benefit fund awarded

CCEL has awarded £1000 of its community benefit fund to four successful applicants: Frodsham Community Association, Neston Community Youth Centre, Retreat House Chester and Cheshire Waste Reduction Volunteers. The funds will primarily be used to install energy efficient LED lighting, and also to purchase two large compost bins for use in local schools and education.

Our Northgate system has produced just under 25MWh, with 7MWh in last month alone. We’re are currently exploring the feasibility of several new projects to share with members in July. Come on sunshine!

Northgate system has produced 17MWh to date! Equivalent of 22 trees planted, 6697kg CO2 saved. April was a fantastic month and May’s weather looking good too!

To date our Northgate scheme has saved 3044 kg CO2 emissions, planted the equivalent of 10 trees and powered 23,500 lightbulbs for a day. The weather was fantastic on Wed 15th March and the system hit out highest daily output so far of 192 kWh! Watch this space.
